During my time at the University of North Carolina Greensboro I was awarded the James Allison Award for an essay I wrote as well as a scholarship. I am also a URCA Research Grant recipient where I conducted door to door research on Why People Drink Bottled Water in Greensboro, NC. My research is currently under peer review for publish in the Southeastern Geographer Journal.
