Knowledgeable and dependable AWS certified welder seeking employment as a welder/fabricator or welder apprentice within the Oil and Gas industry. My goal is to hone my welding skills to become a welding supervisor, inspector and welding engineer.
At Ingalls I was responsible for setting up and breaking down my machines, running lines, grinding, sanding, torch-cutting, and using mostly the FCAW and SMAW processes on carbon steel to create a weldment according to US Naval Code. A strict safety code was met at all times.
At GCI I was responsible for updating and maintaining customer accounts, checking accounts and spreadsheets for accuracy and efficiency, providing over-the-phone customer and technical support, and coordinating customer needs with mobile technical support associates.
As a Starbucks employee I used my knowledge of the industry and obtained specialized customer service training to make the experience as personal and efficient for the customer. I worked at all stations, handled payroll, and was often left to work independently in a leadership role.
Acquired 1,280 hours of hands-on experience while completing the 9 month structural/pipe combination program at the Hobart Institute of Welding Technology.
