Current graduate student with five semesters of experience assessing and providing treatment for clients ranging from toddlers to older adults in the campus clinic, school, adult rehabilitation hospital setting. Previous teaching experience in a general education classroom. Over 5 years experience providing 1:1 academic, adaptive skills, and social skills to clients with autism. Completing medical internship at a rehabilitation hospital for the spring semester with a projected graduation date in May 2015. Preliminary Multiple Subject Credential
Volunteered at the Joseph B. Jr. and Mary Anne O'Neal Stroke Center, in Carson, CA, leading and/or assisting a group of individuals who have had strokes in various speech and language tasks. Activities were intended to be fun and engaging, while providing numerous opportunities for the participants to use appropriate cueing or communication modalities based on their impairments. The entire session was also designed to promote socialization and improve qualify of life.
