Summary

I love working with kids and people! I started working at The Arc's special needs program for kids and young adults 3 years ago at the Red Lion high school location. I worked my way up from aide to being a coordinator and in charge of my classroom.

I live very close, only 1.4 miles away. I am a mother of 2 Children including an 11 year old son with Autism, melt downs, sensory issues and learning delays.

I previously worked 2 years with Kelsey Dubb's who now works at the high school with special needs kids. She told me about the opening.

I've worked in customer service and respecting people all of my life. I love working with all sorts of people. I enjoy reading, crafts, games, plants and family time. I am a very patient, polite and positive person. I'm laid back and easy going. I work well alone and in groups. I am a strong believer in the "monkey see, monkey do" saying for kids, and lead by example. I believe everything happens for a reason and we learn from our mistakes. I love to learn new things and try to learn at least 1 new skill a year.

I am eager to further education and knowledge skills by work with amazing special needs people!
