  • Coordinates placement of children, juveniles, adults and patients within mental health/mental retardation facilities and provides post placement services to the family and advocacy for the individual.
  • Supervises juvenile offenders and recommends appropriate out-of-home placement when needed.
  • Develops service objectives and comprehensive service plans for families, juveniles and individuals.
  • Participates as an integral member of a family services or interdisciplinary team.
  • Functions as co therapist with the worker in the provision of intensive services.
