Additional Information

I am a big believer in hands-on research in order to make the worlds I write feel real: grooming horses, preparing meals, visiting historic sites, etc. Travel and experiencing other cultures in a respectful manner is a joy. A favorite hobby is singing and writing songs, several of which have made it into my original work (I've even authored the book and lyrics for two musicals, one of which was produced multiple times). My three watchwords are kindness, creativity, and integrity.
