Performed automated and manual REST API testing of new xCloud product which served as a data lake, data aggregator and subscription service for applications developed by other business units in the company. Took lead in setting up the automated test framework and initial test suites using an existing internal test tool named SmartWare. Led the effort to work with the test tools team to enhance SmartWare to be able to perform API testing and validate responses using Javascript.
Became team lead for QA members of scrum team testing the first BU application developed to work with xCloud. Started automated test setup for new project which included REST API testing, web browser UI testing as well as load and performance testing. Automated a total of 78% of test cases.
Moved to new scrum team for new application on alternative platform similar to xCloud. Started automated test setup and test suite focusing on end-to-end solutions testing with data originating from a different system in the solution and validating that the UI of the application presents data and events as expected.
