  • Designed HydraNuts® (hydraulic nuts) and specialty fasteners.  Sales of HydraNuts® more than doubled between 2008 and 2010 and have subsequently become key to the business plan rather than being a novelty product line.
  • Performed structural and fatigue analysis of components
  • Assisted in development of owner manuals, including diagrams for hydraulic layouts and design of peripheral tooling.
  • Wrote test procedures for qualifying product, including both the HydraNuts® and activating pumps.
  • Coordinated product testing and conducted analysis of test results.  Also compiled test reports for customer submissions.
  • Reviewed 3rd party ASME BPV reports which were used to qualify product for use in nuclear plant applications.
