- Caring for the needs of students and parents - Supervision of students and junior counselors

- Anything else the camp teachers needed from us- this included making posters for donations, running errands, playing along with students in orchestra, staying positive and cheerful to put students at ease and make sure they had the best experience possible.

- Collaborating with other camp counselors to design fun and enriching learning activities for campers.

Weis Markets, Inc. - Sign Shop Technician
California, MD, 04/2020 - 08/2021

IOTB is a shop specializing in the design and production of signs, banners, vinyl decals, and vinyl car wraps. As a shop technician, my duties included the following:

- Delivery of products to clients; occasional application of products. Ex: applying vinyl stickers to cars.

- Knowledge in the use of printing equipment and machines

- Preparation of products; this varied wildly depending on the day. Examples include sewing banners, cutting out products using scissors or knives, or peeling burnt old vinyl off trucks and preparing them for new wraps. Many of these tasks required intense concentration and care, since I was working with dangerous tools and expensive materials.

- Answered client calls regarding product concerns, return policies and replacements.

- Filed and organized invoices

Rosauers Supermarket - Bakery Sales Associate

As a grocery bakery sales associate, I was expected to maintain a calm and cheerful demeanor at all times. My duties included:

- Regular organization of the sales floor

- Packaging and labeling items such as cookies and bread rolls

- Routine cleaning to ensure a sanitary work environment. I also always worked the closing shift, so I spent the last 2 hours (or more, depending on the state of the bakery) closing up. This meant deep cleaning of the floors, washing all extra dishes, power washing the dishwasher, packaging and labeling extra single items that hadn't been sold through the day, and checking expiration dates on floor products.

- Assisting customers; this included providing information on products, taking phone orders, packaging single order items like tarts and donuts, slicing bread, or writing on cakes, among other things.

- Recommending, selecting and helping locate merchandise based on customer needs and desires.

- Arranged and displayed merchandise to promote sales.

- Greeted customers and ascertained what each customer wanted and needed.

- Maintained safe food handling standards at all times.

- Lifted cases and pushed or pulled heavy tray carts when restocking and preparing inventory.

- Maintained current knowledge of menu items, ingredients and special order products for sale in bakery.

Self-employed - Private Violin Teacher
City, STATE, 01/2014 - 08/2019

From the end of middle school all through high school, I taught private lessons, mostly to 5th graders through middle school. As their teacher, I taught them depending on their current skill level; my entry level students received tutoring in reading music, how to hold their instrument, and other fundamental skills. My older students were given tasks to complete on their own (practice scales, a section of a song, etc,), which I would then review in the next weeks lesson.

- Prepared students for performances, exams and assessments.

- Kept students informed of community events, such as plays and concerts.

- Explained and demonstrated artistic techniques.

- Organized lesson time to make sure I covered everything.

- Helped students develop aesthetic concepts and appreciations to make qualitative judgments about instrumentation.
