Prior to settling in the United States, I have had different work experiences. Which includes, Customer service relations; I was fortunate to work for Chevron, at their Guest house in Ikoyi Lagos Nigeria. Where I served as a front desk officer. I was the liaison officer. Ensuring the employees that came, from within the country and outside of the country. Were properly received and accounted for. We had meetings and training workshops, every now and then. It was part of my duties, to see that all plans put in place were seamless. And each day turned out as planned. This was in year,1997. In the year 2000, I was the project coordinator for FUDTEK fair. A company that came up with the initiative, to promote a discount fair for consumer goods. From the planning stage to the marketing, and the overseeing of the days the event spanned. I was privileged to fully plan and execute all activities. . It is worthy of note, that I have had working experiences that span as far as 1996. I have worked various part time jobs, in different sectors of the economy. Including being a part of the team,that implemented the coding system for the the civil service in Nigeria. It was a federal government assignment. Young Nigerians from different educational exposures, were co-opted into the team. I had just got my high school diploma, and was truly excited at the opportunity of such a scale.
