I started with the Texas Forest Service in June 2009 as a Seasonal Wildland Firefighter. During my time here I have gained valuable experience in many areas of Wildland Firefighting. I Have been on fire assignments, fuels reduction, and training throughout the state of Texas.
Helped conduct training, worked on many fuels reduction projects, and have received excellent performance evaluations on assignments.
I have functioned as a Wildland Firefighter in responsibilities as engine operator, dozer swamper, as well as some hand crew work early in my career. I have done many fuels reduction projects all over the state of Texas in prescribed burning, and mechanical fuels reduction.
