I have twenty five years working in the education. I am bilingual and able to speak and write in Spanish. I have been a a School Operations Manager for fifteen years with Green Dot Public Schools. I began at Animo Inglewood Charter High from scratch in two thousand and two. I am knowledgeable with Power School, Microsoft word, excel, publisher, outlook and power point. Part of my duties included accounts receivable, accounts payable, attendance taking and audit reports, supply ordering and managing classified, janitorial and teachers to include substitute ordering and supply ordering. I am also first aid/ CPR certified and have tended to minor school first aid needs.

I began in an office by myself and grew to effectively manage a growing school team of up to thirty five team members in different positions. Together we run a very successful public charter school of over six hundred students. Through the years and dedication of parents, students and staff the school has had the recognition of Gold Ribbon School 2017, California Distinguished School, US News and World Report noted Animo as one of the Best High School of 2017 and has undergone WASC accreditation with flying colors.

I then moved to work three hours in the classroom and three hours in the office. I tended to incoming calls, parents, students and teachers along with coordinating the student attendance review team and board member for students with habitual absences. I was also called to translate parent meetings in groups and individually as needed both written and orally.
