Signal Officer with active U.S. secret security clearance for the 301st Maneuver Enhancement Brigade, responsible for entire systems of communication. Plans and executes all aspects of communication on a mission that are critical to the 301st Maneuver Enhancement Brigade continued success.

  • Cadet Signal Officer (S6): Maintained and updated the PLU Army ROTC website, Facebook, and Twitter. Served as a focal point for local advertising of the program. Served on event staff for planning and conducting battalion training events outside of tactical training. Responsible for photo/video support for all BN events. Maintained the [arotc] listserv.
  • Cadet Company Commander: Led by example. Built a positive command climate. Evaluated the performance of cadets in the company. Responsible for everything that the company does or fails to do. Provided input to battalion planning. Developed company plans IAW higher HQ directives. Ensured cadets are adequately prepared to execute their responsibilities, especially during field training exercises. Recommended deserving cadets for awards and promotions.
  • Cadet Platoon Leader (PL): Led by example. Built an effective chain of command and developed a positive command climate. Responsible for direct supervision of platoon sergeant and the squad leaders. Provided guidance and direction; delegates responsibilities. Responsible for everything that the platoon does or fails to do. Built morale and esprit de corps in the platoon.
  • Cadet Platoon Sergeant (PSG): As a Senior Noncommissioned officer in the platoon; supported the PL by training and supervising the NCO chain of command. Assumed command of the platoon in the PL's absence. Enforced cadet observance of military customs and courtesies. Enforced military bearing and cadet appearance in uniform. Maintained accountability of all assigned personnel and equipment.
  • Cadet Squad Leader (SL): Responsible for the health and welfare of assigned cadets. Developed squad into a cohesive unit. Kept subordinates and superiors informed. Trained assigned cadets and enforced the observance of military customs and courtesies. Inspected assigned cadets military appearance and took corrective actions. Motivated assigned cadets to participate to the maximum extent. If someone was absent from squad, I knew why and reported it to PSG.
