  • 2004 went to NZ with Navy Rep team as a ambassador for Plymouth Albion RFC in short the coaches asked me to take a training session for them, it went down well and set the tone for the upcoming tournament v NZ & Australian Navy's. The Royal Navy where victorious in winning the Commonwealth Cup, and I was asked to coach the team for the next season. a huge privilege.
  • Coached in Interservice games v Army at Twickenham and the Airforce, such a privilege and such keen proud men. Prior to my involvement the Army had Spanked the Navy in front of large service crowds at Twickenham and the Airforce was always a close fought encounter. The First year we cleaned up the Air Force and we very keen to take on the Army we lost narrower and put on a splendid display at the home of Rugby. The lads grew in belief and the next year was exactly the same in terms of growth and results. I actually had gone home to NZ and went back to do my second year with the Navy.
  • Such proud traditions with Navy the men where amazing so disciplined so keen to learn so keen to grow. Some amazing stories & memories inherited.
