Research Assistant (Volunteer), 09/2014 - 01/2015
SFVAMC And UCSF Dermatology Research Center , , in Mission Bay ● The objective of the lab was to study the Structure, function and metabolic basis for the epidermal permeability barrier and delays of wound healing in the skin.I was helping in handling different strains of mice, identifying sexes, weaning and breeding techniques. Measuring the pH, Hydration and water loss of different Mice strains to compare recovery by Shaving Mice and applying tape to measure the water loss using a Tewa meter (Computer aided device). created data and submitted results to the research team to aid in analysis and publication. Learned new lab techniques in dermatology research.
