Part of a continuum providing various forms of periodic or round-the-clock care in an acute psych setting.. Daily analyze record, data and reports in order to identify health care needs and deliver optimum patient care. We evaluated emergency situations and started appropriate nursing interventions. Most of the time, patient became combative and rapid medication tranquilization had to be administered. There was a 23 hour window in which clients were either stabilized enough to return home or they had to be transferred to other inpatient facilities.
