Since I have worked at Bic I have crossed trained not only in my department but also in other department's. I have learned just about every job in manufacturing. I learned multi-color printer, single color printer assembly, Molding, Shipping, Extruder operator,and material handler. I have a forklift license and knock on wood have never had an accident and driving a forklift for the past 16 years without an incident is an accomplishment. And until management and supervisor changes i was above expectations on all of my reviews.
Unload trucks by hand or if needed pallet jack or forklift. Count boxes and take packing slip and receive in items with P.O.# into system. deliver items to persons who order or to area in warehouse. Do daily inventory from list that I generated. Log in customer pick ups and e-mail customer services and help customer when they arrive to pick up order. Prepare export orders to be shipped to our affiliate.
In morning check list to see which product needed to be done first. Set up that machine, Print head and adjust screen film holder, Get ink and product to run orders, Box up pens and pull bar code label and send down the shipping belt.
Set up orders by barrel color and ink color and by which needs to be in shipping first. Get ink and barrels and run orders pull bar code label and give to assembler help assembler keep assembly machine running.
Gather parts, cartridges and boxes to assemble orders. Switch out parts to run orders with different color trim.
I went back to get my High School Diploma knowing that I could pass the tests and that i screwed up not finishing school and to just better myself.
