As an eight year Marine Veteran, I have had the opportunity to not only serve my country but learn logistical and leadership skills. I have been involved in the care and transport of cargo and personnel from airfields in Iraq to port operations in Morocco, Africa. Outside of the Marine Corps, I worked with fellow veterans on the behalf of mortgage companies as a property preservation contractor. From these job fields I have learned task management skills, leadership skills, and logistical skills. Most importantly, I am very trainable and have a "No complaints, only solutions" work ethic.

Property Preservation ContractorS and T Mortgage Services － Shelby, NCOn behalf of mortgage companies I would secure, inspect, and maintain foreclosed properties. There are many responsibilities asked of a property preservation contractor. At any given time, I had at least 60 properties all over the state that were my responsibility. Task management was an essential tool when maintaining properties with varying job deadlines. Inspecting properties required the ability to read and understand work orders from multiple mortgaging agencies. Often, I worked hand in hand with multiple Sheriff's Departments to perform evictions in various counties of North Carolina ranging from Cumberland county to Onslow County. The biggest challenge of this job overall, were the long work days and even longer work weeks. I have shoveled ceiling high piles of dirt out of living rooms of angry mortgagees and I have spent countless hours cleaning the inside of properties as well as a few days on a single property mowing grass, trimming trees, cleaning yard debris, and disposing of all materials at correct disposal sights. I learned how to perform hard labor in the Marine Corps but I gained appreciation for hard work done properly from being a property preservation contractor.
