In Bindery I am required to do Stapling, cutting, drilling, shrinkwrapping, tapebinding, spiralbind, laminating, inserting foldouts and other hand assembly, and using a strapper.
In production I am required to use a scanner in which I use Publisher, Microsoft Word, FreeFlow and Excel. I scan in the job and reading the customers 5604 form I am able to determine if the customer wants their job head to head, head to foot, determine the finished size, how many copies, what type of paper. then I program, save and store the job in our FreeFlow System and here I am able to clean up the product by cut and pasting, cropping, shift pages or rotating them, and delete or add pages. Ithensend it to designated printer 6135, 6180, Nuvera, or the color copiers, Xerox 2045, Xerox 260 or 5252, Kodak Minolta and the DigiPath Scanner 2000. I load the paer, troubleshoot the machines, call in for service if needed, and proof jobs often. Create a zip file for TODPG upload it after it is "PRINT READY", then estimatethe job.
