Field Training Officer: Working individually with new recruit officers in order to train and evaluate them. Maintained daily observation reports documenting behaviors and observations regarding the trainees knowledge and performance. This necessitated a high level of knowledge and understanding of the department's policies as well and all the Nevada revised statutes regarding police operations.
Traffic Officer: Obtained Police motorcycle certification, conducted specialize traffic enforcement and deemed necessary through compilation and analysis of crash data. Conducted in-depth fatal/serious injury traffic collision investigations. Maintained a high level of specialized knowledge of the policies of the Henderson Police Department and the Nevada Revised Statutes in order to be a source of information for regular patrol officers.
Training Officer: Obtained specific training related for various firearms and provided in depth training to patrol and academy officers.
