I was appointed as a Stoneham intermittent police Officer in March of 1978 and hired as full time permanent in august of 1979. I attend the Medford Police Academy in 1980. During my career I served in many functions such as a member of the NEMLEC tactical force, hostage negotiator,k-9, school resource officer for both elementary and high school students and then spent the last eleven as detective. As a Police Officer was highly effective at taking leadership direction from superiors, as well as mentoring junior officers. Believes that a willingness to learn and an emphasis on teamwork are essential qualities of successful law enforcement officers.
