As a pharmacy technician, I was responsible for problem-solving insurance issues, typing/filling prescriptions while being fast yet accurate. I recently had a 97.32% accuracy of the 798 prescriptions I typed last month. While being busy and under pressure, I still managed to keep a smile and give patients the attention and service they need. While in the military, I was responsible for training ship personnel in my job. I obtained being blue jacket sailor of the year while on the ship because of my skill to problem solve major equipment. My job was to be the first one on the scene during casualties. During our shipboard assessment, I helped my division score 95.7% in the knowledge of firefighting/flooding equipment along with knowing how to assess and stop/prevent a casualty. With the work that I did while in service, the Department of the Navy felt that it was stellar enough to earn an honorable discharge.
