Additional Information

I have worked for The Department Of Rehabilitation and Corrections for approximately 24 years. Starting as a Correctional Officer in 1997 and working my way up to personnel director. I have overseen many different security procedures and trained in many different area's to include; employee relations training, personnel training, exempt manager training, specialized mental health training, use of force investigator training, workers compensation training, unemployment compensation training, disability claims training, Kronos payroll training, OAKS payroll and timekeeping training, OPERS retirement system training, hiring and retaining employee training, Everify training, disciplinary training, union steward training, labor relations training, Family Medical Leave Act training, ADA training, hostile/volitile situations training, unarmed self defense training, firearms training, CPR training, and more. I am retiring and still ready to work, not wanting as much responsability as I have had but would like to still work with people and payroll in a more positive enviroment.

I was on my own as a juvenile and started working at 14 years old, beginning my carear at Dunkin Donuts then moving to the automotive field at 16 years old. I started as a lot tech and worked my way up to Sales Manager then Service Director before leaving to go into corrections at the age of 27. I was unable to graduate from high school because my parents basically left me at the age of 14 but I did go back and receive my GED. I had to work to support myself, I lived with friends, and in my car until I was able to rent my own place. I have not attended collage but was able to obtain the position of Sales Manger for both Dodge and Ford, Service Manager for Dodge, Service Director for Ford, Correctional Officer, Payroll Officer, and Personnel Director for The State Of Ohio through hard work, willingness to learn, dependability, and dedication to the company and the people I work with.

I am self motivated, employer and employee dedicated, need little to no supervision, easily learn new procedures, try to always be positive and look at the bright side of things, and very dependable. Thank you for taking the time to look at my aplication and resume.
