Personnel Assistant I serving as the Officer Promotion/Personnel Actions Specialist in Personnel Strength Management to resolve personnel issues regarding Human Resources. Coordinates with INCOM Commands on Fort Gordon, GA to ensure full visibility to officer promotion policies, procedures and time lines while executing Human Resource requirements for U. S. Responsible for maintaining thorough, up-to-date knowledge of applicable governing HR regulations, policies, and directives. Reviewing local Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and crosschecking against

higher echelon regulations. Identifying discrepancies and draft revisions to SOPs to maintain full compliance. Advise leadership and supported personnel on changes to guidance and ensure changes are applied appropriately at unit and Brigade levels. Applying knowledge of policies and regulations to accurately process military personnel actions to include but not limited to evaluations, awards, separations, retirements, and record updates.
