Professional Summary

I am an enthusiastic professional with a high degree of success and experience working on teams or alone on high-level projects in the construction and land development industry. I have played integral roles, from the beginning of the construction process to the end, with companies relying on my detailed and thorough work at each step of the way.

Work History
10/2014 to Current
Party Chief/Drafter Edible Arrangements Daphne, AL,
  • My responsibilities were split between office work and field work, both being leadership roles. In the field, I worked as a party chief, responsible for the physical collection of data using a multitude of new and advancing survey technologies. In the office, I was responsible for compiling and interpreting the data taken in the field, creating a clear and detailed plat-map for the client, and following up with the client to answer any questions they may have regarding the provided map.
  • Over the course of a seventeen year career, I have worked at every level of the survey process, taking part in the creation of thousands of maps that have been used for the successful completion of thousands of construction projects. These projects include multi-million dollar large scale operations from movie sets, to metro-rails, airports, casinos, and sports stadiums.
  • An important part of my job was to create multi-page documents covering the entire survey process from research to completion and submission. I was required to fashion the documents readability despite the high degree of technical information being conveyed. These documents would generally be submitted to the county for records and for other surveyors to utilize in their own surveys, but often these documents were used in legal cases.
01/2013 to 10/2014
  • I worked as personal assistant to a high-level executive in the entertainment industry. This job required I work at a high pace, be available on call day and night, and be forced to accomplish any task put before me whether I had experience in said task or not, often forcing me to learn on the fly.
  • My day to day tasks involved keeping track of the executive's calendar, taking calls for him, scheduling meetings, planning travel. I was also responsible for making reservations, buying personal items, paying his bills, and driving him around.
  • A critical part of my job was reading materials (scripts, books, etc) and writing detailed reports the executive could use while going into meetings with other executives to discuss the material. This required me to think about any question the other executives could possibly ask and putting the best possible answers to these questions in the report. I was expected to make these reports long and thorough but as clear, concise, and easy to read as possible.
01/2004 to 09/2013
Crew Member/Drafter/Plat Manager DOMINION SURVEYORS City, STATE,
  • I began this job at the lowest level of helper but quickly rose through positions being trusted with more important work. After a short period of time, I was brought into the office where I was trained on survey drafting software, deed and title research, and boundary resolution.
  • My ultimate role with this company became the plat manager. It was my responsibility to look at every plat before it is finalized, checking for any errors and making notes of these errors for correction. In this role, I was responsible for an average of forty plats per day. Any mistakes that could potentially come back would be my responsibility so this job required a great deal of focus, concentration, and attention to detail. In this role I found great success, rarely ever having mistakes come back, and never anything irreparable.
