I started in the profession of Emergency response in 1997 as an Emergency Medical Technician. I became a paramedic in 2000. I worked for a couple of Ambulance companies before I was hired as a firefighter/paramedic at Fulton County Fire & Rescue Department. I worked my way up to Fire Captain where I retired in 2017. I went to work in the hospital and quickly realized that that atmosphere was not for me. I joined Coweta County Fire as a paramedic, where I was asked to become an FTO. I was told I was chosen for my work ethic, knowledge, honesty, passion, compassion and empathy towards my patients.
