Hardworking Package Handler with one year in package handling. Productive working independently and using appropriate judgment. Well-equipped at loading and unloading packages quickly and efficiently and moving products by hand or with basic material handling equipment such as carts and pallet jack. Excellent interpersonal, organizational and time management abilities.
While working at FedEx, I have worked towards learning the ins and out of every position to further my future with FXG.
During my time on Preload, I have been a part of an unload team that was able to hit and maintain FXG Unload Standards of 900 to 1049 an hour to ensure that we were hitting our TLH Goal of the month. Inbetween trailers I would assist with keeping the rollers clean by handling my QA-related packages from rewrapping, relabel, to repackages. I would further assist by ensuring smalls and ICs were being worked on promptly. At the end of Preload sort, I would then go over to the van lines and assist in their final push to get drivers out safely. I would assist by ensuring that the final packages were scanned and loaded onto the proper truck and shelf position.
During my time on Outbound, I was able to quickly learned how to load a trailer, how to split the different towers, and how to operate the smalls area.
I was responsible for training everyone who would work in the smalls area from starting with punch corrections to setting up the scanner, to adding load points on Outbound. As I was training them I made sure to stress the importance of safety while going in and out of both trailers and vans. While I was at P314 we consistently maintained both our TLH and TLS for 7 months.
While working at Olive Garden I trained all new hires the ins and outs of the restaurant. I taught them the guidelines and expectations given by Olive Garden while also teaching them safety, whether it was food safety, kitchen safety, chemical safety or personal safety. I had to work with each person to help strengthen their weakness and reassure their strengths. On the rare week I was not training new hires I was serving guests and seeing that all their needs were met while at the same time upselling food and drinks to better the guests experience.
As senior bartender I was responsible for the safe service of alcohol. I would restock the shelves of the bar and beer cooler, make drinks for patrons, manage my serer staff out on the lanes, and maintain a cash drawer. I would put in our liquor orders each week with our distributors.
