Career Overview

Over the past four and a half years I have worked in ophthalmology. I started when I was 19 with no knowledge of the ocular system at all. Six months later I achieved my scribes certification and a year after that I passed my COA exam (I just renewed this in December).

I have a drive to constantly learn more and strive to make my employers proud.

I had a baby in December and planned on going back to work shortly after, but that didn't work out as planned. I needed more time with the baby and my former employer wasn't able to hold my position at the office. I decided it was best for my son if I quit work for a while to care for him. He is now at the point where I can leave him and he does just fine. That being said, I am looking for something new. Like I said before, I've been doing ophthalmology for years and would like a change. I feel like life insurance is important, especially when you have children.

Thank you for your time.
