  • Directed a very dynamic and progressive EMS system with approximately 100 field and administrative employees, and over 23,000 responses annually.
  • Ultimately responsible for preparing and overseeing an operational budget of $7.7 million with a gross billable for service of over $20 million.
  • Played a guiding role with numerous RFP processes, while continually providing insight to improve business growth and community/customer relations.
  • Work closely with numerous state and federal agencies including the insurance industry.
  • Frequently meet with and provide technical support to city, county and public officials, prepare contracts for service with governmental entities, healthcare facilities and other private organizations desiring emergency medical services.
  • Developed informational reports, review performance objectives and implement changes as indicated, and support the Shawnee County Ambulance Advisory Board.
  • Very experienced working with a union based work force, developing excellent employee relationships ultimately leading to decertification of that union.

  • Provide interactive operational support to all field medical personnel.
