  • Responsible for coordinating the export and movement of Sea and Air cargo for clients, including the management and distribution of documents and information related to the export function.
  • Initial setup of export shipments, booking & coordination of most cost effective and efficient means based on pricing list received from sales department of the ZUST to export goods such as government secure and non-secure cargo including supplies, equipment, construction material, classified Diplomatic pouches, Crating Secure Authorized Container (CSAC), government owned vehicles, government contractor's shipments within customers' requirements.
  • Prepare Individual Shipping Plan (ISP) for secure shipments to submit to clients and or directly To Transit Security (TS) for their approval.
  • Timely preparation of all required shipping documentations such as Ocean bill of Lading, Air Way Bill and other required shipping documents.
  • Coordinate with all carriers, broker, shipping partners to insure proper shipping coordination done and cargo clears customs and delivers to consignee door per the required delivery date.
  • Ensure booking details and update information transmitted to clients and all relevant parties on time as required.
  • Work closely with the Consolidated Receiving Point (CRP) to ensure work orders and picking orders are submitted on a timely basis as required.
  • Ensure that export process is in compliance with company and industry quality assurance standards (ISO, Customs).
  • Data entry and billing of services process and correct miscellaneous accounting issues.
  • Maintain and update, rate sheets and file log.
  • Ensure the customers are provided excellent service throughout the export process including quick response to inquiries and problem resolution.

  • Responsible for customs clearance of all incoming and outgoing personal effects shipments of 1,200 American personnel working in 40 different agencies with a $400 Million yearly budget.
  • Directed and supervised a team of 15 Customs and Shipping Expediters, Clerks and Assistants Arranged and facilitated over 4,500 incoming and outgoing shipments, valued at over $400 million, per year Maintained close contact with high-level government of Afghanistan officials and seved as a liaison with Deputy Director to resolve contentious, complicated, or long standing customs, shipping and border issues.

  • Made flight plans for ICRC aircrafts on a daily and weekly basis and served ICRC flight operations from Pakistan and Afghanistan.
  • Assisted with the transportation of over 3,000 travelers from ICRC, Federation of Red Cross, International NGOs, and Diplomatic missions in and out of Afghanistan.
  • Moved 5,000 metric tons of humanitarian cargo and medication, valued at $10 million, per year throughout Afghanistan.
  • Served as acting ICRC flight coordinator when coordinators were away from work.
