  • Started out in Employee Health as HR Specialist scheduling patients, answering phones, and filing.
  • At that time, Employee Health handled case management for benefits such as PTO and FMLA. I understand processes and their importance.
  • Next, position was changed to Employee Health Assistant. Performed data entry of immunizations and other requirements for employment. Sent notifications to employees past due for those requirements. In 2014, established process for training Employee Health staff for certification. Trained to collect drug screens and trained to train others to collect drug screens. After certification, trained all clinical staff to collect drug screens per DOT regulations. Worked with many departments for tracking and results including Employee Relations, Administrative Supervisors, Pharmacy and diversion team.
  • Worked as Medical Assistant to assist staff shortages helping in provider clinic and flu clinics.
  • Covered for Medical Review Officer Assistant when out of town. Which included verifying prescriptions with pharmacies, and getting reports to Medical Review Officer for clearance to start work.
  • Employee Health moved from HR to physician services. Title changed to Occupational Health and Safety Specialist 1 which changed to 2 after meeting position requirements. Handled transfers for St. Luke's ensuring employees are compliant before transferring to new position or department. When employee had physical restrictions, sent request to RNs to contact Benefits case managers to help get clearance to safely work new position.
  • Cross training to other position such as PAS role and Occupational Health Specialist roles in Occupational Health filling in during staffing shortages.
  • Process transfers for St. Luke's west region sites.

  • Started in 2005 as information desk attendant. Answered phones, gave information to guests, scheduled birthday parties, and registered skaters for Learn to Skate classes and Hockey Leagues. In 2007, started teaching ice skating. Eventually quit information desk to focus on coaching. Only reason there is end date for this job is because Mayor closed Idaho IceWorld in December 2020 planning to reopen November 2021.
  • Taught skating skills from parent and child classes up through jumps and spins up through adult classes. Taught Hockey skating skills for Learn to Play. Maintaining attendance records and evaluating each skater to assess skill level and ability to move up to next level or if more practice was required. Completed continuing education required of City of Boise employees.
  • Back stage manager for annual ice show for Boise Figure Skating Club for about 10 years. Was back stage medic for Sun Valley on Ice shows summer of 2019. Assisted professional skaters with medical needs whether it be ice packs, using oxygen, to cleaning up cuts.
  • Currently training to be accountant for Ice skating competitions. Setting up competitions using Hal and entryeeze programs, making starting orders, and computing results during competitions.
