I have had three successful careers beginning with the Navy
at a job that demands perfection in multiple fields of engineering and
leadership. I followed that working for
Westinghouse where responsibility for contracting, logistics, project
management, and business finances were additional skills that I
honed. Finally, there is teaching which
has been by far the most rewarding in terms of the impact you make on students
and the impact they make on you.
In my teaching career I have been responsible for the development of many diverse curricula supporting differentiated approaches to teaching.
Quality assurance and control
Purchasing and procurement
Project development and life cycle

I and my family have been affiliated with the Polynesian Voyaging Society for over a decade. The society teaches students to care for their environment through a variety of methods of which the most notable is learning to navigate through the worlds oceans using traditional (non-electronic) methods.
