- Architected a Data De-Duplication program for 3 Petabytes of SAN
storage. Achieved no-growth for the year for the first time ever in the company's 25 year history.
- Managed an $80 MIL Systems Integration IT budget supporting 650 IT
developers and contractors while establishing a metrics based project review and
audit board.
- Hired 125 New FTEs in a single year to meet growth and demand.
- Key Negotiations and implementation of an MSSP, (Managed Security
Service Provider) with UNISYS. This was a true follow the sun implementation in
conjunction with daily penetration testing that was implemented in 6 months. Interviewed and seeded a team of 8 Security
professionals to build out a NIDS, HIDS, WIDS, NAC and Network Penetration
Program.
- Managed the Corporate Operational Security Assessment and Implemented a full
PKI process and certificate management within the two Data Centers and external
clients.
- Negotiated PKI Certificate contracts with both VeriSign and GeoTrust
while Implementing a full PKI and certificated management process with savings in
excess of $1.0 MIL. Negotiated and implemented a Distributed Denial of Service contract with
AT&T providing full upstream heuristic monitoring and protection of our
inbound connectivity providing our shareholders with a first line of defense
upstream in the network. An insurance
policy for some 14 million web registered users.
- Managed a multi-site Production Sustainment team (108 FTEs) that
increased on-line availability from 97% to 99.92% and reduced open production
defects by more than 50%. (704 to 326 in less than one year).
- Managed and delivered an 18 month, $85 MIL Business Integration project
for an enterprise Pension Payroll system. This was the first company effort
expended around Data Re-Architecture and Oracle RAC.

look-a-head coupled with vendor and platform roadmaps.

and Data Virtualization, Disaster Recovery, RPO & RTO.

SLA on all Tier 1 Applications, utilizing Active/Active Architecture and Tier 1 web
solutions.
