I successfully helped develop and carry out projects based around new fluorinated small molecules and polymers for a variety of applications.
Selected examples include high temperature heat shielding materials, sulfur-based polymers for lithium ion sulfur batteries, new post-modifiable polymers, and molecular glass materials for optical applications.
Worked closely with team members to deliver project requirements and meet deadlines.
Collaborated with AFRL scientists and others to develop novel research solutions with the goal of solving problems relevant to the Air Force.
I communicated our research effectively at a number of public and government-industry research conferences which generated interest from academia, industry, as well as other government entities.
