25 years ago I began a career with NAPA Auto Parts as a delivery driver in one of the retail stores. I worked my way up to District Operations Manager. I then moved to the Distribution side of the business, where I again worked hard to prove myself to be an asset, gaining a reputation as being one of the best. Currently, I mentor other Office Managers and sit on a Governance Committee sponsored by the operational department at Corporate Headquarters. Over the years I have received numerous letters of accolades from General, Operations and Human Resource Managers thanking and acknowledging my extra efforts and abilities. I am a dedicated, hard working employee that learns fast. I work well in a team environment, but also likes to take ownership of everything I do. I pride in a job well done and like taking on new challenges.
Over the last few years NAPA Auto Parts has implemented two major procedural/software changes within our organization. I have embraced those changes, and put in time and research to insure our success. Over time we have acquired a reputation as one of the most knowledgeable Distribution Center in the company. Through that reputation, I have been recruited to travel throughout the West Coast to help strengthen other locations knowledge and processes.
