While attending college I started a variety of clubs outside of school which related to the field being taught but expanded upon it, while being able to complete my work within my school curriculum. I worked multiple freelance jobs from doing make up for the San Francisco Opera house to wig maintenance/styling and costume repair for Beach Blanket Babylon. I've worked in coffee shops and video stores and am comfortable with working with the general public.
During any downtime between my film career I have worked in commercial studios doing a wide range of tasks and have always been asked back.
Mold making and puppet fabrication including a variety of specialized molds for the individual needs of the puppets to be constructed, as well as casting, seaming and armature construction for hands/arms.
I am comfortable and knowledgeable of a variety of materials from silicones, urethanes, foams,stones and types of glass cloth for any type of mold needed.
Casting, and clean up of casts was a general part of my tasks. I am comfortable in a workshop using a variety of power tools and roto-casting machine equipment. I am knowledgeable with using a vacuum chamber as well as pressure pots from 1 gallon sized to 5 gallon size.
I am completely confident in doing jewel cutting molds for opaque or translucent silicone.
Shop clean up and general tidiness is second hand to me to keep the shop an efficient workspace and a safe environment.
I am certified in First Aid, CPR and AED. I was the head of the safety committee for 4.5 years.
