I have been working with the residents of Oregon State Hospital for almost 10 years. I have learned many things in the my time here at the hospital and through that I believe that it is one of the most important jobs we as care givers have to the population of Oregon. You will see that through my experience below that I am dedicated to that practice. Through my years here I have increased the involvement in the Hope, safety, and recovery of our resident population as well as our staff and wish to be more involved in the future.
I am a Certified Nurses Assistant(CNA) Associates degree in business management and administration From Kaplan University. Some course work from Colorado Technical University towards a Bachelors degree in Criminal Justice with a focus in social services.

Working with individuals admitted to Oregon State Hospital through the court system, I help Foster Hope, Insure Safety, and Promote Recovery. Following this mission, I give them the tools and information they can carry with them throughout their stay and into the future. Ensuring each patient that there is Hope for the future by being someone to talk with, listening to, and reinforcing that their dreams and aspirations can come true. Insuring their Safety by listening to their concerns and addressing each one a if it is my top priority, maintaining a visual presents on the unit and throughout the hospital to reinforce that staff is their for them at anytime. Promoting Recovery by assisting them through their treatment, giving them support in accordance to their treatment care plans.
