While in High School I was a member of the Marine Corp. ROTC program.

While here I learned discipline and respect.

We did community service regularly as part of our program. We were required to do 75 hours on our own time, that was in addition to the services that we did during our program.

We learned attention to detail, we learned to have respect for ourselves and others.

We learned to work as a team and to rely not just on ourselves but to build a unit that would last.

Boy Scouts of America - (Florida)

I started in Boy Scouts when I was 9 or 10, my mother signed me up so I would be able to harness some of my energy and make new friends.

I completed Cub Scouts and went on to earn the Arrow of Light which is a prestigious honor given to those Cub Scouts that work for and earn several difficult and many multiple tasks. By the time I was finished with this assignment I had a lot of pride in myself. I was crossed over to the Boy Scout Troup, but decided not to join due to wanting to give my full attention to my High School studies.
