college credits in criminal justice field
Being in the construction field was a great opportunity for me to expand my skills in the field because I meet all different types of people and was able see different trades at work. When i first started with MD I was hired as a spackler, which is the trade that prepares the wall so that the painter can come in and paint the wall. After I was able to learn to sheetrock which is the walls being put onto the framing. My last trade to learn was the framing and reading of the blue pints. This area was very important because to read blue prints is the instructions on how a project is going to be build. With all this skills I learned, everyday I was never doing the same job, I was applying all the knowledge that i had learned in all the fields and was able to progress in the company.
