I currently work a position as a Material Planner in Purchasing at the Bridgewater Plant. I find the job challenging but would like to seek other opportunities. I've been back with Perdue for twenty years, and have a wide range of experiences within the industry. I worked production six and a half years prior to leaving and returning. Upon my return, I worked an additional three years, then in Human Resources for 5 months, R&D for five years, and QA production for nearly two years. I returned to get my college degree in 2005 and earned my Bachelor's in Business Management by 2008; during that time I became a QA Corporate Grader and ran a satellite test kitchen for Steve Berglind at a Perdue rented Warehouse in Strasburg, VA. I did this position for six and a half years, and returned to the Bridgewater Plant into Purchasing which I've done for over two years.
Worked in Chicken Packout prior to this for six and a half years. Learned all positions on the line along with the boxroom and shipping. Also partook on the Safety Committe and othe extra curricular activities such as bulletin boards, posters, volunteering in parades, etc.
Earned my Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Organizational Skills through EMU's Adult Degree Completion Program with the help of Perdue's Education Reimbursement Program.
While working in Strasburg, attended here to finish my electives to complete my Bachelor's Degree at EMU
Took General Business courses: Typing, Accounting
Graduated with GPA 3.0 as Honor Student
Business Administration; attended after High School
Initially attended after High School, went back in 2005 to gain credits needed to enter EMU Adult Degree Completion Program and improve GPA
