Professional Summary

Highly motivated, extremely driven individual. If I can believe in the product/company, I can market and sell it. Can get a lot done with little to no direction if necessary. Multi-faceted in the sense of having the ability to wear different hats in the workplace, and take care of whatever is necessary. Very good at problem solving, and tend to focus on solutions rather than the problems at hand. Keep morale high with coworkers and have the ability to find what makes a person tick, in order to keep them driven and motivated. Take great pride in whatever it is that I do and my mission is never anything less than becoming and maintaining being the best at what I do, all while finding new ways to innovate and propel production forward.

Work History
06/2019 to Current Marketing Manager Anyscale | San Francisco, CA,

Canvassing Responsibilities

  • Generating leads by cold knocking on homeowners doors. I started as a regular canvasser and worked into management within 3 months of being there.

Management Responsibilities

  • Printed township outlines for 35+ townships in Central PA counties and highlighted every neighborhood and home values of said neighborhoods.
  • Cut neighborhood maps using Groundforce (RBA custom salesforce app for canvassers) of neighborhoods and assign them to my guys
  • Call resumes from Indeed, Ziprecruiter, etc.
  • Interview prospective new employees
  • After new hires made it through the one week of In Office training learning the script, rebuttals, and transition phrases, they would be assigned to a team.
  • Once on my team, I would spend 3 days in the field with the new hire.
  • Day 1: They would watch me pitch homeowners the entire shift, taking notes and seeing how it's done. Often times I'd take advantage of the first day to find what motivates, inspires, and drives said individual so that I could easily manage their mindset and keep them pushing hard each and every day.
  • Day 2: They would spend half the time watching me and half the time doing it themselves with me watching them. Watching for things as simple as breaking eye contact or pitching with little to no confidence in their voice, or just completely botching the whole pitch. Taking notes for them, summarizing all problems then listing the 3 biggest changes that would improve their pitch. While stopping after each door and going over issues with their pitch and the solution to said issues. Often times showing them what I mean at the next door, then reviewing again, then they give it another shot.
  • Day 3: 80% them 20% me typically. Just getting the final jitters out of them and giving critical advice to ease their success.
  • After 3 days in the field with me they would go off on their own for 3 days then I would follow up and walk with them for their shift. Updating notes and picking out what they've changed, doing wrong, or are doing right. It's important to list the positives with the negatives to keep morale high.

Other Responsibilities

  • - Drive company Nissan NV3500 to territory. Drop off everyone in assigned neighborhoods and pick them back up at the end of their shifts
  • - Payroll; keeping track of my teams demos, calculating commission, and putting it all into a microsoft word doc at the end of each week

Achievements

  • Took over the number one team of canvassers in the country out of 105 affiliate branches nationwide within 3 months
  • Fired 2-3 year veteran top performers that made the team #1 because of stupid things they were doing once I took over, like not doing their jobs. Hired new people with no experience at all, trained them myself, and made essentially a new team, but continued and maintained being the number one team in the country without skipping a beat.
  • Broke the demos in a week record with 73 demos produced by my team in early 2020
  • At one point, my team was 13 people in size, and I managed each and every different personality and mindset based on each individuals personal needs to keep motivation as high as possible

Since Covid-19 Pandemic

My department has been shut down since the 2nd week of March. Since then I have gained the following skills

  • Events Marketing Agent - Setting up and pitching prospects as they pass by. There is an art to getting someone that's preoccupied to stop in their tracks and listen to what you have to say
  • Call Center Representative - cold calling either people that have never had us out before, or previous customers, setting up appointments for quotes while trying to set the best stage for the Rep that goes out to the home.
