Received a Letter of Commendation from Rear Admiral Martin E. Janczak for assisting in the recovery, search and rescue of the 1997 Korean Airline, Flight 801 crash in Agana, Guam. Awarded the Navy Achievement Metal in 2011. Qualified and received the Seabee Combat Warfare pin (2004), Enlisted Surface Warfare Specialist pin (2011), Enlisted Aviation Warfare Specialist pin (2011).
Lead, managed, trained and mentored over 126 sailors in ordering, receiving, stowing, inspecting, inventorying, preserving, packaging, shipping, and issuing material and cargo of over 169,000 line items worth over $69,250,000 of Navy Capital Funds.
I was the first Military Working Dog (MWD) Team in the European theater to train and qualify my MWD, "Eddie", on methamphetamine. Trained 5 other MWD teams to also qualify on the narcotic methamphetamine. Conducted over 126 vehicle searches, 58 building searches, and 36 homes for evidence of illegal substances and/or stolen property. Wrote over 425 reports on arrest made, activities performed and unusual incidents observed. After the terrorist attack on the Uniter States in 2001, as a Field Training Officer, I trained 135 Navy Reservists in the proper procedures in maintaining physical security, radio etiquette, walking patrols and the over all security of the Naval Base.
Trained and supervised 6 MWD teams in qualifying in narcotics, explosives, and patrol. Conducted over 382 vehicle inspections, 78 building searches, one search and rescue of a missing child, and numerous personnel inspections resulting in 5 arrests for possession of a controlled substance. Trained military police officer in the proper procedures for inspecting vehicles and personnel when entering and exiting the installation. Conducted over 200 DWI investigations which lead to over 170 arrests. As a spotter for the explosive MWD teams I assisted Washington State Police department in two actual bomb threats one on a middle school and the other on the Tacoma Bridge.

Investigated over 32 domestic violent cases. As a Field Training Officerfor the Security Department I trained over 53 .Patrolled over 1000 acres of federal land. Trained over 82 security personnel on the Uniform Code of Military Justice and regulations of Naval Activity Base Guam. Gathered preliminary investigation information as a first responder to over 58 crime scenes to breaking and entering of a residence, poaching on federal land, burglary alarms of federal building, and suicides.
Was taught the proper techniques in apprehending a suspect, conduct proper Emergency Vehicle maneuver techniques, handcuffing, proper firearm safety, and understanding the Uniform Code of Military Justice. I also qualified on the 12 gage shotgun as well as .45 cal hand gun. Conducted training on vehicle felony stops and well as vehicle searches. Utilized a "shoot, don't shoot" simulator to enhance our quick thinking skills need out in the field. Conducted casework in criminal investigation, evidence collection, criminal procedures, physical security, report writing, and human relations. Graduated top 20% in my class.
As a member of the Auxiliary Security Force I qualified expert in pistol and sharp shooter in rifle. Assisted in the investigation of over 12 domestic violent cases. Trained over 37 auxiliary security force personnel in hand cuffing techniques. As a valuable member of the military police department I decoyed for over 15 military working dog teams and helped train the teams in search and rescue, apprehending suspects, hand cuffing with a military working dog, and conducting building searches.
