Internship Coordinated through Massachusetts Maritime Academy
Duties involved the updating and rewriting of the City of Lowell's Emergency Preparedness Plan.I worked directly with heads of Lowell's Police, FIre, EMS, and CIty Hospitals in running Preparedness meetings to keep strong communication throughout Incident Command System Organization. In this internship I gain valuable knowledge in crisis planning, communication, adaptability, and the handling of many different emergency situations.

-Top ranked Cadet in 6th Co.
-Led a staff of 6 officers. As Company Commander I emphasized strong communication and motivation within my staff.
-I was in charge of over 200 Cadets. Interpersonal skills were tested daily between myself and my staff as we worked through numerous personal issues within the company.
-Worked closely with Senior Company Officer on all company functions to include the 2-week Freshman Orientation Period.
-Strong oral communication, leadership, confidence, planning, and the ability to make difficult decision allowed me to succeed as Company Commander.
Orientation Squad Leader:
- One (1) of five (5) selected for 6th Company.
-Led the training, instructing, and supervising of 59 Freshman Cadets during and for the year after their 2-week Orientation Period. This period requires loads of motivation sent towards the young Freshman while also understanding the interpersonal skills required to be a good leader and mentor as during this time.
-In charge of instructing and supervising of 60 Sophomore Cadets.

During my time as a Cadet at Massachusetts Maritime Academy I was able to use my strong leadership qualities, hard work ethic, interpersonal skills, and motivation of others to move up the ranks within the Corps of Cadets. Those skills were sharpened during my time training with the Marines of Officer Selection Stations, Providence RI, and with that I was able to reach my goal of being th 6th Company Commander my senior year. In large I credit those skills and my knowledge in various areas to included Risk and Consequence Management, proficiency in writing, and strong understanding of Microsoft Excel to getting hired by Raytheon prior to graduation. I have been able to excel during my time at Raytheon and often get complements on my decision making, communication, and writing skills. I define myself as a strong leader and hard worked. I excel in roles where quick decisions need to be made and I also excel in a team setting. Lastly, I pride myself in my dedication to a task as I will always see a project through to the finish
