In 1999 we moved the office from downtown Walla Walla to home base. I personally set up all database systems for pertinent full service operations. Conferred with escrow companies, lenders, home inspectors, and pest control operators to ensure that terms and conditions of purchase agreements were met before closing dates. Advised clients on market conditions, prices, mortgages, legal requirements and related matters. Prepared legal documents such as representation contracts, purchase agreements, closing statements, deeds and leases. Arranged for title searches to determine whether clients have clear property titles. Reviewed property listings, trade journals, and relevant literature, and attended conventions, seminars, and staff and association meetings to remain knowledgeable about real estate markets. Generated lists of properties that are compatible with buyers' needs and financial resources. Promoted sales of properties through advertisements, open houses, and participated in multiple listing services.
