Energetic, highly motivating and detail-oriented Tittle III linguist possessing excellent organizational and analytical skills.
Field supervision and case management background.
I have experienced staffing cases as well as providing quality assurance on the investigations where I have been front line linguist.
I have worked for six years as Tittle II linguist supporting criminal investigations with accurate translations. Knowledge of policies, different drug cartels, drug routes, codes used to describe different types of drugs, developed an analytical understanding of how the DEA targets criminals.
As Tittle III analytical linguist, I have been able to help the agency study and analyze codes for routes, drugs, and different crimes. I also help intelligence analysts keep documents updated which makes it easier for them to provide the case agents with what they need to indict targets, properly identify targets or run toll records for targets and persons of interest.
Fluent in both English and Spanish
Problem solving expertise
Staffing Tittle III cases
MS Office proficiency
Successfully supported Tittle III investigations in the Atlanta Field Division as a front line linguist as well as staffing investigations according to its needs.
Most recently, I was invited by a Task Enforcement Officer to simultaneously translate for him, his AUSA and an arrestee because they are aware of my understanding of the drug trafficking investigations in Atlanta and my commitment to the cause.
Special agents have also request that I interview suspects when they arrest them so I record the interview and transcribe the conversation for further voice recognition.
