  • Responsible for coordination and execution of Public Protection Cabinet (PPC) legislative efforts. Facilitates thedevelopment, implementation and monitoring of the Cabinet's legislative priorities.
  • PPC Administrative Regulation Promulgation and Implementation Coordinator.
  • Guides development of Cabinet programs, policies, and procedures.
  • Responsible for coordinating, executing and overseeing cabinet-wide initiatives, including kyhealthnow, PPC KYEmployee Charitable Campaign Coordinator (2yrs.), and PPC integration into the KY Business One Stop Portal(KyBOS).
  • Cabinet Strategic Planning Coordinator. Responsible for the Office of the Secretary coordination of key policies of PPC agencies to create the strategic framework to ensure public safety, consumer protection, and responsible regulation of high profile industries in the Commonwealth.
  • Responsible for highlighting to Cabinet leadership and aligning priorities of PPC agencies with the budget and legislative processes necessary to advance their goals and objectives.
  • Cabinet Small Business Ombudsman. Point of contact for small businesses on navigating PPC regulatoryprograms. Identifies and reports key issues and volume of inquiries annually to the KY Commission on SmallBusiness Advocacy.
  • Represents the Cabinet in internal and external professional meetings, agency task forces and designatedprograms. Responsibilities include serving on the Governor's Ambassador Award Selection Committee and theDepartment of Charitable Gaming Advisory Board (proxy). Task Force work includes the HB 215 Electrical TaskForce (2012), Governor's Taskforce on the Study of KY Alcoholic Beverage Control Laws (2013), and the HBCLow Voltage Working Group (2015).
