LDAR technician for 17 plants in the West Texas and East New Mexico area. I handle monitoring, cooling towers, re-tagging, re-checks, and paperwork.
Used a TVA-1000 to check valves and flanges for chemical leaks throughout Formosa Plastics. I was also on a few re-tag projects for new equipment that was installed in the plant.
Prepared food orders for customers, washed dishes, re-stocked the food lines, and ran the cash register.
Broke down and cleaned machinery, put the machinery back together and cleaned the floors after production hours.
Stacked boxes of frozen chicken onto a 7x7 pallet and moved it with a forklift onto an 18 wheeler trailer to be shipped to various stores.

I was presented an LDAR job opportunity in the summer of 2012. After only a few weeks of training I was ready and was sent out in the field by myself. As I began learning new things, I became very interested in the LDAR field. I then realized that LDAR is where I would like to pursue my career and I am always up for new challenges.
