Launch Station Operator/Entry Control Point Guard, 05/2020 to 08/2020

  • Was deployed overseas in support of Operation Spartan Shield.
  • Responsible for the safety of 5 team members while conducting movement and inventory of 52 live interceptor missiles onto our unit systems.
  • Maintained and operated 6 launching stations by using fiber optic cables, radios, fuel supply, live missile safety checks, computer software, and daily preventative maintenance checks and services.
  • Established and guarded a 24-hour entry control point to inspect personnel coming on to site with proper means of identifications while looking for weapons, bombs, and any contraband.
  • Trained and mentored new team members to fulfill critical positions resulting in increase in mission readiness and effectiveness.
