Accomplishments

Over the past year and a half I have fostered 8 different dogs from Operation Delta Dog, with each having their own personality and temperament. I have worked through the challenges and struggles each of those dogs has presented. The main struggles being polite leash walking an introductions. I worked with each dog on basic skills like sit, down, wait, stay, and heel. In my academic life I have stayed in higher placement or honors classes since my freshman year, and have kept my grades up all of high shool. I have been the captain of my school soccer team since my sophomore year. This position has helped me strengthen my leadership, communication, and teamwork skills. When working with both the dogs and people I have learned how to be patient and stay calm in stressful situations.
