3. I can issue new warrants accurately as ordered by the Judge, as well as cancel warrants properly as follows:

b. Issued- Bench Warrants- Failure to Appear, Failure to Pay, Failure to Comply, and Juvenile Warrants.

c. Cancel Arrest Warrant = Warrant Served/ Warrant Cancelled

e. I am also competent on how to send new outgoing warrants to NMSP, as well as cancellations through the google drive.

4. I am knowledgeable working with File & Serve both in the review platform, as well as the HTML5 platform. I am proficient with navigation through the Civil Queue when sending documents to the Judge to review and sign, as well as file them into File & Serve; thus, enabling me to maintain both hard and electronic cases.

5. I can give a general idea of what forms need to be submitted when filing both Civil and Criminal cases without giving legal advice. I am also able to provide information on where to obtain legal advice.

c. I have assisted detainees and their families with many concerns such as medical, mental health, as well as daily needs during an extremely difficult and sometimes uncertain time in their lives.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES, DUTIES AND EXPERIENCE:

I was responsible for the safety and security of the General Public; Detainee’s; Contract Staff; and employees. I supervised on average 20-35 employees, as well as, the detainee population. I was proficient in keeping confidential information and records secure. I prepared and corrected Court Paper Work for Aztec and Farmington Magistrate Courts; Aztec, Farmington, and Bloomfield Municipal Courts, and also other Courts as needed. I was also responsible to calculate cash pay-outs correctly, assure that the correct amount of money is collected for any cash bonds, and confirm that correct receipt book is utilized accordingly. I took care of payroll for the employees on my shift confirming that their hours were correct and accurate in the Munis time keeping system, and signed off on time sheets. I also have experience with KRONOS payroll system. I ensured that all officers received training in all areas throughout the jail to maximize officer proficiency. I was deputized as a Special Deputy by Sherriff Ferrari allowing me to serve warrants both Misdameanor and Felony. I was CPR and First Aide certified through the American Red Cross. I was able to make quick and accurate decisions when faced with emergency situation. I have extensive experience with implementing employee evalutions, as well as, implementing disciplinary action. I resigned from San Juan County Adult Detention Center as a Sergeant of ten and half years in March of 2019, totaling twelve years of longevity and experience.
